Instead a curved stem is attached to the smaller ball, this stem is given a smooth rounded finish at the tip. The curved shape of the stem ensures that, the belly ring will not separate and come off when being worn. PROPORTIONATE WEIGHT

There are two gemstones in the PJ002 yellow or white gold belly ring. Both are firmly mounted in the solid gold balls without the use of prongs. Prongs can scratch delicate skin or get stuck in fabric, they do save on gold weight but are not suitable and convenient for long term use. Loose prongs can also cause the gemstone or diamond in your belly ring to drop off. As mentioned above, the portion under the gemstone in your custom belly ring is fully closed. This provides two benefits for your jewel, dust, moisture etc. cannot enter from underneath. The closed back also makes it easier to clean your custom belly gold ring. Water and mild detergent that would normally be used to clean your belly ring, will not be able to enter and collect below the gemstone.
