Gold or Silver

The KSR007 custom cross ring can be crafted in gold or 925 silver. The same premium standards are maintained for the gold or silver diamond cross ring. You can specify 10k, 14k or 18k gold for the ring and also choose white, yellow or pink gold. With 14k gold striking the right balance between metal hardness and gold content, we generally recommend 14k gold jewelry - leaving the final decision to you. Pricing for the 10k cross ring can be provided on request. 

For the silver cross ring we would recommend that no plating be done, this because all plating done on silver will wear off after a while. Wear off on a plated silver cross ring will happen in patches, this poses a challenging when polishing or cleaning the jewel. An un-plated silver ring would be easier to maintain as long as, you do the cleaning process just as the tarnish sets in. Once again we let you decide about the plating for your silver diamond cross ring. 

Gemstones and Diamonds

The KSR007 diamond cross ring shows a ring with 2mm round natural diamonds. You could order the custom cross ring with gemstones of your choice. If you decide to use gems for your ring instead of diamonds, we would recommend durable gemstones like ruby, white sapphire, blue sapphire, yellow sapphire or pink sapphire. You can discuss your gemstone requirements with our experts at sales@kaisilver.com we do not place any restriction on gem selection but, many gems might show a very pale color in small sizes like 2mm rounds. Since the KSR007 made to order cross ring is fully custom made, we can accommodate requests for larger gems and diamonds - a specific price quote will be worked out in such cases. Remember that bigger gems or diamonds, would require wider band width and that would imply a higher metal (gold or silver) weight. 

Interestingly you can combine different gems and even combine gems and diamonds, in your cross ring. Diamonds can be white, yellow or black. Prices will differ and we will provide details once we know your exact requirements. 

With the demand for lab diamonds and lab gemstones on the rise, we would like to address such requirements. All references to gems and diamonds on Kaisilver websites, refer to natural and not manmade gemstones. Lab diamonds and gems are manufactured and made to clone their natural counterparts. Ring Durability and Dimensions

Highly skilled artisans meticulously handcraft all Kaisilver custom jewelry including your cross ring. The diamonds and gems are securely encrusted using advanced technics and microscopes. With 2mm round gems or diamonds, the ring has a band width of around 2.5mm, the band is solid and not scooped - this applies to the gold and silver custom cross ring. The band has an optimized thickness and we have provided sufficient metal weight (gold or silver) to ensure that, the ring is sturdy and will not bend or deform easily.  

Important to understand that larger ring sizes or a request for changed band width, will require higher metal weight. It is therefore important that you discuss requirements with the team at sales@kaisilver.com for specific pricing and other details. 

The gold cross ring has a weight of around 8 to 12 grams, larger rings are likely to require higher weights and we will discuss that once we have your requirements. The silver cross ring has a weight of around 8 to 10 grams and once again, larger ring dimensions could call for additional metal weight. 

Since each cross diamond ring is fully custom made, all ring size requirements can be accommodated. 

NOTES ON PRICING FOR THE CROSS RING

Gold Option 

Depending on your choice for of diamonds (lab or natural) or gemstones, the price of the KSR007 gold cross ring, would be in the US$2,200 to US$2,700 range. You will understand that gold prices have been volatile and generally in the higher range. This is one of the reasons why we encourage you to work with our support team at sales@kaisilver.com for current prices. 

A gold cross ring could be ordered in 10k, 14k or 18k gold and you can specify, your choice of white, yellow or pink gold. We would generally recommend 14k gold rings as 14k gold, maintains an optimum balance between gold content and metal hardness - you can however pick the gold option of your choice. 

Silver Option

And if you wish to have a made to order silver cross ring, expect to pay around US$ 450 to US$ 1,500 depending on your choice of diamonds and gemstones. For the silver cross ring, we would suggest that no plating be done, as any plating done on silver will wear off with time. This is something that you can discuss with the support team about but, we will leave the final decision on plating with you. 

SYMBOLISM AND STYLE

True that most jewelry portals would try to sell a cross ring with little or no information!
